Adrien Brody has had some truly strange roles in his career as an actor, this runs at definitely a close second.  The first being ‘Splice’, that odd biology experiment film where something heinous happens between him and his creation… ‘Detachment’ is a morbidly depressing narrative that achieves little in the way of entertainment and pushes clichés past their comfortable limits, to no desirable effect.  Go watch ‘Splice’ it’s more rewarding.
